Raleigh, NC — The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) joins the RNC in commemorating the National Day of Prayer.
"On this National Day of Prayer, we humbly seek God’s guidance for our nation’s leaders and His grace upon all Americans," said Chairwoman McDaniel. "Since President Reagan proclaimed the National Day of Prayer to be celebrated on the first Thursday in May, people of all different backgrounds have united in prayer on this day to give thanks to God for our many freedoms, including the free exercise of religion.
