The North Carolina State Board of Education will vote Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021 to adopt new state social studies standards, kindergarten through high school. The proposed standards are political in nature and paint America and her history as evil and racist. These divisive standards consistently separate Americans into groups in an effort to undermine our unity. The proposed standards indoctrinate our students against our great country and our founders. The standards are not age-appropriate in the elementary grades.
Lt. Governor Mark Robinson released a statement against the proposed standards that says, in part, "we need to teach our children how to think and not what to think." You can read more in the North State Journal.
In response to the proposed standards, the Conservative Women's Forum has issued a call to action, asking North Carolina citizens to email Board of Education members and state their opposition to the new standards. Time is of the essence since the Board will vote this Thursday, Feb. 4.
