Petition to Congress: Pass the SAVE Act and Protect Our Elections
86% of Americans agree-only U.S. citizens should register to vote and cast a ballot.[1]
The House passed H.R. 22, the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act in April, and now it sits in the Senate. This is an incredibly important piece of legislation that would plug the holes in our federal voter registration and election process—holes that currently allow noncitizens to register and possibly vote.
The SAVE Act may not have enough votes to pass the Senate without pressure from you. That's why August is Only Citizens Vote Month. Tea Party Patriots Action is using the August recess to build momentum and support for the SAVE Act.
